What we collect
A website that doesn’t track you
There are no forms on this website. We don’t ask for your name, your email address or any other information in order for you to read it. You can browse every page without telling us who you are.
- No cookies. The site stores no cookies in your browser, so there is nothing for you to accept or refuse.
- No traffic analytics and no ads. We use no tools that count visitors or follow their movements, and we show no advertising.
- Self-hosted fonts. The typefaces you see come from our own server, not from an external font service.
- No external scripts. The only code running on the page is the site’s own, and it comes from the same server.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. The hosting provider and its content delivery network (CDN) may temporarily keep technical data about visits – IP address, browser type, the page requested – for security and to keep the site running properly. We do not use this data to track you.
When you contact us
Your data, only to reply
If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or send us an email, we receive only your number or address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this data solely to reply to you.
Phone
We see the number you are calling from. We use it only to talk to you or to call you back.
The WhatsApp button on this site opens a service run by Meta. The conversation takes place there, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Your message passes through your email provider before it reaches us. We use your address only to reply to you.
Legal basis and how long we keep data. We use the data in your messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, when we discuss volunteering or working together, to take steps before an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep conversations only for as long as we need them to reply to you and close the discussion, then we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
We don’t sell your data or pass it on to anyone else, unless the law requires us to. If you would like us to delete our conversation, just let us know.
Photos
Blurred faces, no metadata
We publish photos of our activities on this site. The faces of the children, and of the people who took part in the protest of 3 November 2015, are blurred so that they cannot be recognised.
We have also stripped the EXIF metadata from the photos – the information hidden inside the file, such as where and when the picture was taken or which camera was used.
Do you recognise yourself in a photo and would you like it taken off the site? You can ask us to remove it by emailing contact@asociatiaphoenix.ro.
